You don't know what it means to me (#44)
When you work on the road and saw someone who needed help, pleased don't work away you might not know what your help can do.
Let me tell you what happens on the18th of march 2021.
That beautiful morning I was on my way going to work, I saw an old woman from a far distance with heavy luggage on her head.
From the look of things, I knew she is in deep pain with what she carried.
So I have to work very fast to reach her.
When I finally reach her, I greeted her she was not able to respond not talking about her working properly.
I stopped her and took the load from her.
The way she responds in breathing shows how relief she is by helping her.
When I took that luggage from her, damn that woman was in deep pain.
I thought my neck will break, that luggage was to heavy for me, not talking about that old woman who is above the age of 75 years.
We work for sometime before we reach, I wonder if that could have been possible for her to reach with that luggage.
What makes me feel sad the most is that when she said in one of our local language "Themne".
My son, you don't know what this means to me, I was dying slowly on the road with my luggage, eventually, you came to my rescue.
I feel sad you know, on the other hand, I was happy to help.
So you see, you may not know what that help means to that person.
Don't help someone because you are expecting help in return.
Help does that are in need and expect nothing in return.
Help someone you might not know what the future holds.
A wise man once told!
"The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but his integrity and his ability to does around him positively".
I am not just telling stories I am changing lives too.
Thanks for reading and have a blessed weekend.
