Two wrongs will never make right (#27)
Today I want us to learn another important lesson happen years back in "Sierra Leone".
Two men live in one village, the one is a farmer and the other is the shepherd.
The Limba man is the shepherd and the Fullah is the farmer, they both work very hard to see that their work become successful.
Until one day something bad start happens between the two.
The cows start going to the farmer's garden and eat the plants, the limba come to know about it.
He patiently meets the fullah man and reports the matter, he listens but did not do anything about it.
The limba did not stop, he continued to report the matter to the chief and the elders in the village.
They call the fullah man and advise him but nothing was done about it, the cows never stop eating the farmer's plants.
The farmer patient again and take the case the law, the police did there investigation and told the Fullah man to control his animals.
The fullah obey the law just for a short period, the cows started eating the plants again.
When the farmer found out, he became angry and try to take revenge, there was no one to advise him to keep calm.
What came into his mind, is to kill one of the cows, "he did" the fullah man found out about what the limba just did.
The fullah man went to limba's house and kill his child, "oh my God", what he did was ungodly.
That is how the killing starts between their different family, the limba man too did not hesitate for once.
The limba kill the fullah man's wife and children with no regrets.
Later the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) came in and take them both to the police station for the evil act they both did.
Their case went to court for justice, the court finds out that the fullah man was at fault, all the witness prove that he was just stubborn and did nothing about it.
The limba was free and the fullah was found guilty and sentenced to live imprisonment according to the act of law.
Romans 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”
Exodus 14:14
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
James 1:19-20
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Friends please slow to anger, don't take advantage in anyone because of his present situation.
