She makes my life a testimony (#189)
I was a very cool guy who listened a lot to what people said and never believed in myself because of that I failed all the time.
Because of a lack of confidence, I never achieved anything good in my life as a young man.
I always sat at the back of every room supporting others' ideas, because I always fear of my level of education to speak.
Even in times of decision-making, I will just support the majority, even if the act will hurt me in the end, I will just sit in my regret corner.
I was doing all that because I was always thinking about my opinion never important when people of high education are speaking.
I thought I was just meant to be a village champion until one day this happened and everything thing changed for good.
This beautiful educated woman came to our small village for a visit, she was there to get some information as part of her research.
She needed someone to take her around and show her some very important areas in the village to write about.
Fortunately, I was assigned to help her to do the job, she was very happy because I was young and we can discuss things that far.
At the end of her research, it all went successfully, she appreciated my help, she surprised me with a little money.
I refused to take the money three times but she insisted I should take the money, it was nothing, just a little way to say thank you.
In the end, I took the money and she left but before she left we exchanged numbers and promised to call me.
She did as she had promised, calling when she reached the big city, we talked for a few minutes, and still thanked me for all I had done for her.
After some months passed by a call came in, I was not expecting that call, guess who that person was.
The lady I helped a few months back, asked me to go to the big city, and she sent some money through (Orange Money) for transportation.
I asked why I should go to the big city, she just instead, said, I should go urgently, it was for my own good.
When I reached there my biggest surprise, her father was a rich man, and the family gave me that opportunity to go back to school.
That was the happiest moment and biggest surprise ever in my life, something I was not even dreaming of in my future lifetime.
I went to school and finally became a graduate, then I stopped being that guy who always sits at the back to support any kind of decision the elders made (hahaha).
Few lessons to learn, never give up on yourself, and secondly, always learn how to help sincerely, you never can tell how you are helping.
Thank you all for reading and happy Sabbath.
Blessed weekend
