However, there was a problem: Saffinatu's boyfriend, Mohamed, was not financially buoyant enough to afford expensive clothing.
That Saffinatu had in mind, He had barely enough to pay his bills, let alone buy her expensive cloth for Eidul Fitr.
Saffinatu was disappointed. She knew Mohamed had been struggling financially.
But she had hoped he would still be able to make an effort for the occasion.
When she asked him about buying the Eidul Fit cloth, he gently explained that he could not afford it.
Saffinatu was upset and did not take it well. She accused him of not caring about her, and of not reciprocating her love.
Despite Mohamed's emotional pleading and explanations, Saffinatu refused to listen.
Heartbroken by her reaction, Mohamed retreated into himself and decided to give her space.
However, Saffinatu was so stubborn that her pride wouldn't let her take back her words, and she continued to ignore and push him away.
Days rolled by, and Mohamed tried to reconcile things with Saffinatu, but to no avail.
Eventually, Mohamed gave up and decided it was best to keep his distance.
Finally, Eidul Fitr arrived, and Saffinatu found herself without the perfect dress she had envisioned.
She was now alone and not happy.
As she sat in her room alone, she realized that she had let her pride cloud her judgment.
She had pushed away someone she loved and valued over something as insignificant as a dress.
She regretted the way she had treated Mohamed and knew she had to do something to make amends.
Saffinatu immediately rushed to Mohamed's house, apologizing profusely, and asking for his forgiveness.
Mohamed was hesitant at first but seeing how sincere Saffinatu was, he relented and accepted her apology.
The two of them reconciled their differences and celebrated Eidul Fitr together as a loving couple.
Reminding each other that their love was greater than materialistic things.
From that day, Saffinatu learned to appreciate the little moments of joy and trust that mattered more than expensive clothes.
Their relationship grew stronger, rooted in love, and they lived happily ever after.
