Pass it on (#149).
20 years ago, something I did out of kindness, came back to me through my daughter and grandson.
You see 20 years ago I was able to do everything for myself and even help others with the little I have.
I get old and sick too, which makes me not do anything to support my family in my little way.
But my beautiful daughter got a good job feeding the home and paying all the bills.
At first, everything started perfectly fine, until one day my daughter came home and said they closed their company.
All of us felt very bad, about how difficult to go in search for jobs in the country.
How to pay the bills and feed the home, my grandson has to go to school, she has to pay his fees.
She gets stressed every day, I felt sorry for my beautiful daughter because she wanted a good life for us.
One afternoon she went through a store to buy foodstuff, and when she gets there, the things she orders for she can't pay for them.
She was asked to live if she couldn't afford the money to pay for them, she needed to give space to others.
She felt really bad, she worked out of the store with a sad face and crying heart.
A young man saw everything, he bought all the items the lady ordered for, ran towards her and delivered them.
She was surprised by what the man did, she asks how she can pay the man back for what he did for her and her family.
The man told her, I don't need you to pay me back.
The man removes a small note in his pocket written on it "PASS IT ON".
That piece of paper was given to me and my dad 20 years ago when we were homeless by one man who helped us.
That man changes our life and asks for nothing but asks us to pass this piece of paper with kindness.
She was very pleased with the man when she got home, she explained that to her dad.
Her dad shed tears but did not tell her why he cries after seeing that small piece of paper.
Her dad was the one who helped that young man and his dad 20 years ago.
Come to know this, "The kindness you put out in the world, is always fine a way of coming back to you".
Remember, I am not just telling stories I am changing lives.
