Nothing lasts forever (#160).
Imagine how you left your son to stay at your neighbor's house and something bad happened behind you.
At first, I was the one staying at home taking care of my kid, our firstborn while my husband went to work.
Things were perfectly OK in our home because my husband made good money to support the family with all our needs.
I was just a housewife with a first-class degree, but my husband pleaded with me to stay home and give attention to the kid.
I should have been using my certificate to find a job, I was so passionate about what I studied at university.
Nevertheless, the main reason that makes me accept his request was because my body was too young to live in the hands of someone to take care of him.
But the most important thing that sweet everything is the money (hahaha) he promised to pay me every month.
You know us now, women and money are like teeth and tongue, no one can work without each other (hahaha).
My son was enjoying so much love and care at first until the economy in the country turned ups and downs.
The company my husband works for has a serious financial breakdown, and because of that so many things started happening.
The board and staff have to meet and discuss how to handle/solve the present financial crisis the company is going through.
The crisis is not just affecting their company is also affecting other companies too, due to the heavy text raised by the government.
They try to increase prices and see how they can still hold done to straighten their finances, but that was the worst decision to make.
Increment makes them run to a very big loss, not just them, other companies too.
Because the rate of sales falls very slowly, the majority can’t afford such.
After the plan (A) fails, the plan (B) is to cut down all staff facilities and wages which lead some staff to live in the company.
Whereas my husband and some good staff decided to stay.
My husband was scared to tell me, he always wanted me to live a good life without working, when he later told me about that.
I told him I would manage with any little he brings home, he was very happy at first when I decided to stay home and take care of the baby.
But after six (6) months things got tougher than we expected, one evening I told him I needed to go in search of a job as it stands.
I speak quietly and respectfully, which makes him see reason, he later accepts and wishes me good luck in my job hunt.
A few months later I got a call from one of the companies I applied for and went for an interview, I was happy so was my husband.
But our big stress was our son who was just a baby, thinking about the care that someone can give him when we are not around.
I talked with one of my neighbors and he was very happy to help.
That gives me the courage to start working to help support my husband financially.
Everything started fine, my boy was so happy and looked good.
Sometimes he doesn't even know what to go home with us, he was always happy to be with our neighbor.
After some time we start seeing our son looking very different and that same son who we always like to stay with our neighbor.
Is rushing us to go home any time we go picking up (hmm).
My husband starts getting suspicious about something going wrong with our son who we cherish so dearly.
My husband pretends to go to work, just to see what is going on with the strange attitude our kid is putting.
After an hour he went back to our neighbor's place, so sad that what his eyes see mouth can not explain.
She has been doing so many bad things to the kid just that he can't explain well for us to understand.
Only God knows what that little baby was going through all this time as a kid.
But in this life whatever evil you are doing to someone, note that nothing lasts forever, it takes time but has an endpoint.
