If you want to do something, just do It(#183).
I dropped out of school because I couldn't pay my fees and no one was there to help me due to the hardship in the country.
Life is very hard for everyone, no one is ready to sacrifice even a little amount for others to grow but you can't blame anyone for hardship.
The government has made life very difficult for everyone in the country, no future for the youth.
Youths are on the street taking drugs, wasting their future thinking drugs will help them forget the pain and suffering in the country.
The only time politicians can come close to the youth is during election time, giving them rum and drugs with lots of fake promises.
After voting them in, they will turn back on us, and send their tinted glasses up so people can't see them passing.
I strongly stood against drugs as a youth, for me not to be involved in such a life I decided to find something to do to raise money and not to depend on someone.
I started as a conductor (assistant driver) was a very stressful job to shout the rest of the day finding passages on the road.
Some passages are very difficult to attend to but I needed the job I first told myself before going for the job I needed to be calm no matter what happens.
A few months later my boss started teaching me how to drive, I was so happy, that I did not take too long to practice driving.
During that time I was practicing how to drive I was also saving some money to buy myself a driver's license, which I surely accomplish.
I was so surprised when my boss said we are going to have a new conductor since I can drive very well now and I have a driver's license.
I thought he was going to fire me, I was so worried because it is very hard to get a new job in Sierra Leone and also to get an understanding boss like him.
That day reached, and guess what, he handed over the car key to me as the new driver, I was so shocked, I was not expecting it at all.
I am determined to go back to school which was always on my mind I can't stop thinking about my future, I was so happy when this happened.
I see that as the only opportunity to achieve my dream of going back to school, which makes me over serious with my driving work.
I tried hard not to bring problems for my boss or get problems with any passengers, always trying to avoid police trouble (hahaha).
I also avoid all other things that will cost me to spend money without bringing in any income for a good two years.
I ended up going to university and achieving my long-awaited dream, which lots of people did not believe I could do.
For guys who take drugs to calm themselves down from the frustration in the country, I am telling you today that drugs are not the best solution, instead they can kill you slowly.
Education is the key, stop depending on people, life is too short, work hard to make a brighter future.
Continue having a beautiful week.
