I will not die for anyone (#190)
Hi everyone, meet "Michael" the people's helper, the one who answers everyone's call.
But “Michael” will never be the people's choice when it's time to help him.
From the story of "Michael," he realizes that in everything you do learn to put yourself first, but don't be greedy/selfish.
But in this case "Michael" has never been selfish to anyone as he always cares about people's wellbeing.
But the saddest part, he was selfish to himself (oops).
Michael was a very young, intelligent, and hardworking man, he was around the age of twenty-five (25 years).
Michael works for a (Mining Company) in Sierra Leone, he makes a very good paycheck at the end of every month.
But the saddest part about it is that he never made any savings in his life, If anything happens with his job he'll go bankcrypt.
You may be surprised about what I'm about to tell you about this kindhearted young call (Michael).
I know you may want to know what happened, but what I will tell you will shock you.
This young man (Michael) always used everything single cent to help people who asked for help.
He thought he was doing the right thing to help people instead of saving at least a little cash for any emergency if anything came up.
To be sincere "Michael" was doing it with joy, with a lot of love.
Not even thinking of people paying him back but to create that love and friendship.
After some time sickness came into the country and the company closed, "Michael" became jobless.
Michael had to come home and stay with his family, he was so happy to see them again after awhile not having much time with them.
By the looks of things they welcomed him with beautiful smiles,
Everyone thought he was just there for a holiday break, including his neighbors, just as usual to visit when working.
But when he told them he lost his job because of the present situation in the country.
Everyone immediately changed their looks to something I couldn't explain, says (Michael).
Everyone just worked past me and left me in the sitting room all alone without giving me food to eat.
He felt nothing bad about it, he thought that was their way of sympathizing with him.
Not knowing that he was going to face a lot at the hands of the people he used to sacrifice everything, just to make them live a better life.
Weeks passed by, he asked his little brother to get him a bucket of water stream.
He refused and sent some bad remakes against his elder brother "Michael,” everyone was there saying nothing.
He was cool with it, he had no option, he had to fetch water himself in the stream.
so many hurtful things he passed through all because he didn't have a job anymore.
No job, no respect that was it, he felt very bad about himself, but he still showed love and courage and tried to be cool with them.
The one that hurt him the most, was when his mother was sick, he asked close people who never struggled to ask him for help.
Guess what? They all refused, he even went to his neighbors to ask for loans, and even close friends all refused to help.
The words they told him that broke his heart into pieces, that finally made him fear humans.
They said openly, they were not the ones who asked him to spend his money lavishly.
He should have saved some and expected the unexpected that one day his job would be over.
He cried bitterly like a baby, guys.
That was the most disappointing moment in his life, but one thing he was grateful for was his mother getting healed and he was able to pay the bills.
I know you might be surprised how it happened, one good Samaritan he helped longtime ago.
Had about what happened to him and decided to visit Michael.
The day she came to visit was the day everything changed for good.
She took responsibility for “Michael” mother's medical bill and found me a new job.
Today's lesson what I want you to know is that, I know the middle of the story you may want to decide never to help people.
No, don't stop, my advice for you is just keep on helping people.
You never know the one that will help you tomorrow when you are in need.
Keep blessed soul.
Happy Sabbath.
And God bless you.
