How accepting change helps me (#147).
It was a meaningful decision I made in my life even though it was very challenging.
But is just like the saying goes "The end justifies the means."
I grew up as a spoiled child, spent all my time with my family doing everything to make life easy for me.
Because I don't want to go far from my family, all because of my comfort zone.
I get support for my decision all the time because they always want me to be happy, they never want to discourage me.
I change course and go through a four-year course in the city where I stayed with my beloved family.
But the course I chose was not my childhood dream course, it was just because I don't want to make a move.
I hate doing things for myself, which my parents and siblings did for me every time with a lot of love.
After four years of studies I got a very good result and I, fortunately, got a very good job with good conditions of service.
But there was a problem for me "guess what?" I need to live in the city, for the province."
For a distance of over 150 miles from the city, I stay.
It was a hard decision to make and the bad part of it in our country, it was very difficult to get a job in the country.
I explained things to my family, the reply from my family started well and turned against me.
Mom and Dad support me but my elder siblings say no to it, I should go and work, and after my parents agreed with them.
I tried to do a lot of things just to cancel it but they all stand on their words "I should go and work".
I later agree and move to the province, another big city in the country (Makeni City).
Things started very rough for me, every weekend I would go home to spend some time with them.
There was a time when I almost gave up, trying to go home, I was not able to get used to working for myself.
But a young guy, seats me down and explains his story to me, how he came from a poor background.
He encourages me a lot, since then I accept change in my life.
Because of change, I study my dream course and achieve my dreams.
My family were very proud of me, I see success coming my way in anything I do.
Accept change with the mind of moving forward for success.
