Have a content mind and be patient (#65).
Hay everyone, I welcome you all to another blissful weekend.
Before I start, I want to thank you all for following me and read my write up every Friday, I do appreciate you all.
1 Timothy 6:6-8 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and we can certainly carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
For I want us to look at these two ladies, at the end of the story I want you to drop me your comment.
Julia and Juliet live in the same community but they are not friends.
Julia is a rich lady and a successful businesswoman but doesn't have time to serve God.
Juliet is a very religious lady but poor and not successful in any of her businesses.
Juliet uses to meet people and preach the word of God to them.
Julia doesn't have time to give hears to preachers or people who talk about God.
Julia used to tell people that she is successful because of her hard work.
When Juliet use to tell people about the good news of God she never has the chance to talk to Julia.
Not that she did not want to talk to her, but Julia is not easy to see not talking about having the chance to talk to her.
Julia comes to know about this young preacher woman but she never witnesses her preaching.
One day Julia was on her way home and saw Juliet preaching, which she had Juliet talking about (Psalms 51:1-19).
That is the same day Juliet see this reach and successful young Julia.
That night Juliet call for a (Bible) everyone was surprised, why is she asking for a Bible.
She goes through the verses she had Juliet was talking about earlier that day.
During that period she weeps tears and goes on her knees asking God for forgiveness, promise to serve him faithfully.
Come to what Julia was thinking that same night.
Julia said so many things and decided to stop going to church, even compare herself with Juliet who is not faithful to God but she is rich.
She decided to do anything to get reach, unfortunately, things don't work well for her, whereas Juliet becomes a very good preacher woman.
A few months later they both die and live everything they work for the rest of their lives.
1 Timothy 6:9-11 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
In life don't ever give up, God's time is the best.
Have a blessed weekend.
