Get out of the boat and make a difference (#119)
Sometimes things happen to us that we never expect to happen.
It all happens because we make that move that was very difficult to make in the beginning.
The decision I made years back which I never regret making, even though it was very difficult to make at first.
Around 2012 I got a job working for a company called "Lamnalco shipping company".
Because of the job, I have to move to the province "Port Loko District".
I am forced to adapt to the system in the village, if I want to make a call, I need to work at a far distance searching for network (wow).
At first, it was a very difficult place to live, but I later loved the place and the people living in that part of the country.
People turn out to show me a lot of love and kindness, I later call that place my second home (smile).
After two good years of work, I decided to go back to the city where I came from and resign from the job.
I know there are a lot of questions running into your mind about why I decided to resign when is very difficult to get a job (hmmm).
When I first told my colleagues, they also ask a lot of questions and one of them even told me if I am not losing one of my senses (hahaha).
I know I am OK, I just need to take this step, I know it is going to be very difficult for me but I just have to move on.
I told them I want to continue my studies, but they laugh at me and ask me "how am I going to support myself?"
My answer to them was that (when I reach that part of the bridge I will find solutions to cross over the bridge "smile all of them").
2014 I move to the city to continue my studies with hundred per cent (100%) determination and focus.
A few months later when I start taking classes I lost so one so dear to me (my beloved mother).
It was stressful, she promise to support me in her own little way and see me accomplish my dear.
That's what any loving and caring mother will do for her child.
There was that time I almost quit school because of hardship.
But I remind myself no matter how hard life is, I will never give up.
But today I thank God for always being there for me, my friends and my family too.
Never in your life say no to it when you never give it a try.
Life itself needs challenges, always learn how to over difficult times in life.
Have a peaceful weekend.
Be safe.
Cuidate
