"My name is Sahr"
I came from one of the most popular districts in Sierra Leone “Kono district”.
My family background was very poor even food to eat is not easy to get, my father and mother, isolate themselves because of poverty.
No one likes to befriend with them or neither want to help us when I was 10years old they both lost their lives.
"My suffering was considerable."
At age ten (10) I started working for survival, no one wants to help, so I decide to do things my way.
Age 20 the suffering continues, I started doing different types of jobs for people, I live in a small hut in a remote village.
I work over 10-15 miles every day just to get my day-to-day basis survival, I live there because no one wants to be my friend.
At age 40,50,55 hardship never stopped, I think I am going to die the way I was born “poor”, no wife, no child because life is so difficult.
I ask myself, is this the way my life is going to end up, the lady once pregnant for me give the baby to another man because of my circumstance.
At that time I can't do anything about it, come to think about it "what good reason am I living on earth for?" no family, no friends, no one at all!
So I choose to commit suicide to myself, that was the saddest moment ever in my life, dying without living a legacy "I cried", but before doing that I choose to read the Bible.
When I open the bible I turn to "Matthew 16:26, Matthew 11:28 and Luke 9:10", When I read these verses.
I feel relieved, I realized that I'm living for a great reason.
Bible verses saved my life
Six (6) month later, I wake up one “Godly” morning stepping out of my hut I saw something shining on the ground, I picked it up I found out that it a diamond.
“woooow” ooooh my God………!”
I can tell how a diamond looks like because I was once a diamond digger for ten (10) years, just as ordinary labour.
When I found out it was a diamond I wanted to shout but I control my emotion.
From that day my story turns around to be a rich man, people start calling me "money miss road" at age 60-70 I became rich and popular, everyone wants to be my loyal friend.
Destiny is like a clock when the arrow stops on your side it's your turn to give out a very big smile, but don't forget where you come from and make good use of it.
Life is a journey don't give up, better days ahead. We are all looking for a better future.
